One of the most profound things I learnt on the inner journey that brought me back to my soul is that thinking and ‘being’ are two separate things. We can’t think and be at the same time. We are either thinking, or in a state of being.
You may have noticed yourself that the act of thinking and the experience of being are very different from each other. When we think, our thoughts move constantly between the positive and the negative, influencing how we feel at any given moment. Sometimes we feel good, other times, not so good.
Being, on the other hand, is the complete absence of all thought and feeling. It is the experience of there being nothing else but being. Being is constant. It doesn’t change. It is unaffected by external circumstances.
In the state of being, we are beautiful, powerful, and at peace. We are free.
