“There is a place, beyond the realm of time: a place that glows with a warm, gentle light, as beautiful as the flowers and trees, as powerful as the mountains and seas.
That place is you.”
Everyone has their own idea about what love is, but the love I’m talking about here is beyond the world of ideas.
Love is light, the most beautiful light, more beautiful than anything we could ever imagine, more powerful than any force that we know of in the physical world.
This light is our essence. It arises deep within us, in the lower part of the abdomen just below the navel, and fills our whole body. But it’s not confined to the body. The light radiates out beyond the body, as far as it’s possible to see and beyond. The light is boundless, infinite.
This light can be seen. I’ve seen it many times, in many different places: while walking down a busy street, in my house, on a mountain path. Mostly, I’ve seen the light in front of me, but I’ve also seen it to the side of me, and even behind me, despite the fact that I was walking at the time, and looking straight ahead. I’ve also experienced being bathed in the light, and being the light itself.
The light can take many forms: white light, silver light, golden light, crystal clear light, but however we experience it, whatever form it takes, it is always the same: extremely beautiful, and powerful; it is the beauty and power of love.
The light is alive, it is aware, it is an endless source of knowledge. As light, we see clearly, we know what to do and where to go at any given moment. As light, we are interconnected.
It doesn’t matter if we don’t experience the light of love directly. We don’t have to see it to know that it is there. The light is always there.
It is what we are.
If you’ve experienced the light that I’m talking about here, I’d love to hear about it. You can send me an email here.
