We´re living in extremely challenging times right now. What once seemed stable and predictable, is now chaotic and unpredictable.The world seems to be out of control.
One way of responding to this is through fear. It’s easy to be frightened by the ongoing dramatic events that are playing themselves out at the moment. But fear changes our body chemistry and robs us of inner peace. It is inner peace that brings us the relief we´re in need of.
How to remain peaceful inside despite what’s happening “out there” in the world: Understand that the world is going through an enormous upheaval right now. It´s part of a greater process that has a logic of its own. It’s a cleaning out process that is necessary so that new ways of living that are compatible with life can come into being. Even though we don’t know how long this process will last, or how things will be in the long term, it’s very important to trust it. It’s a healing process.
It’s natural to want to stay up-to-date with what’s happening. At the same time, it’s easy to be drawn into the drama. Find a way to regulate your need for information while at the same time, remaining emotionally detached from the content. The more detached you remain, the greater your inner peace. If you do feel scared, it´s ok. Let the fear come, let it stay a while, then let it pass…it always does.
Know that your true nature is light: you are a beautiful, peaceful, powerful being. Seek beauty and peace at all times. Do this, and your light will shine for yourself, others and the world.
