I’ve written a piece that I’m thinking of using as the opening lines to the book that I’m working on, ‘Art of Enlightenment’. What I’ve written isn´t final yet. I’ll be working on it more, but I wanted to share it with you. Not only is it an introduction to the book, but it also presents the core theme of the book.
‘The Art of Enlightenment’ is about the greatest journey we will ever make. The journey back to the soul.
The journey is unique for each of us who embark upon it. The events, the details, differ from person to person, but the fundamental elements are always the same.
On the journey, we are searching for something that is missing, something that cannot be found in the physical world. Something we can´t live without.
Longing for something we can´t live without gives us the courage we need to travel through previously unknown territory without a map to guide us, not knowing where we are going or how long it will take. It also makes us determined to continue on the journey until we find what we are searching for.
If you have any thoughts or comments, I’d love to hear from you:)
