I wanted to share something that I wrote in 2004. It´s a long time ago. I hope it´s helpful:
“There are things you think (believe) about yourself, and there are things you know (deep inside) about yourself. You need to discover the difference between the two.
The things you think about yourself are in hard terms, feel hard and generate fear-this is the illusion you have of yourself.
The things you know about yourself are soft and gentle and generate peace. This is the truth of what you are, and where you need to be to feel safe and happy.”
